Restoration of Three Friends
After the restoration of Selvi Boylum al Yazmalim by Atif Yilmaz, Technicolor Foundation has done the restoration of a new turkish film with Üç Arkadas (aka : The Three Friends) by Ün Menduh (1958).
This film was presented in presence of his filmmaker during the 30th Festival of Instanbul on 5th April.
Groupama Gan Foundation and Technicolor Foundation decided to join forces to lead this restoration with the Mimar Sinan Archives and with the help of the Ministry of Culture in Turkish.
The Filmmaker :
Ün Menduh is born in 1920.
Former football player, Director, Actor, Scénario Writter and Producer. He realiszed more that 70 films and played as actor in forty films.
Synopsis of the film :
Three friends decided to help a young blind woman, without familly who lives in the street.
They tell her that they are rich and they could help her to pay the operation surgery as order she regain the sight
A beautiful friendship and love story.
