Franco-American Cultural Fund
Initiated by SACEM and the Directors Guild of America (DGA), the Motion Picture Association (MPA) and the Writers Guild of America (WGA) decided in 1996 to increase the opportunity for dialogue between film-makers in both countries. A three-tier approach:
- training young professionals from the film industry
- encouraging greater viewing of French cinema in the United States
- setting up professional events both in France and the United States
